Isabelle von Neumann-Cosel, writing for the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung (February 2, 2026), described it as a "poetic view of humanity and water," a "true theatrical wonderland to marvel at." She noted that Iván Pérez had once again managed to coax "a few small theatrical miracles" from the stage. He had "remained true to his style": "a great deal of introspection and finely differentiated emotions"; Yoko Seyama's set design also contributed to the "wow factor."
The Mannheimer Morgen (February 2, 2026) headlined "Iván Pérez bids Heidelberg an impressive farewell," and Nora Abdel Rahman continued, writing that the choreographer had "created many outstanding works with his wonderful ensemble" in Heidelberg and, after eight years, brought the project full circle with his exploration of the element of water.
